Music Philosophy

Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; - Ephesians 5:19

Music plays a large and important role in our spiritual lives. The right kind of music will help a Christian live a life pleasing to the Lord, and the wrong kind of music will hinder spiritual growth. Therefore, music is stressed at Lighthouse. Every devotion, Bible class, and service is opened with "psalms and hymns and spiritual songs." The girls learn hundreds of Scripture verses by song, and each year the graduating class records the songs they perform in the graduacion program. We pray the the music will bless you as you listen to it.
