According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary, a testimony is:

2 a: firsthand authentication of a fact : EVIDENCE b: an outward sign c: a solemn declaration usually made orally by a witness under oath in response to interrogation by a lawyer or authorized public official
3 a: an open acknowledgment b: a public profession of religious experience

The following are testimonies of past and present Lighthouse Christian Academy parents. The names of the students have been redacted to insure their privacy. All testimonies are on file at Lighthouse Christian Academy.

This letter is long overdue and I delight in writing it. (Redacted) was helped by you and your staff. At a time when my world as I knew it was in pieces, and (redacted) was not the wonderful daughter I knew and loved we were on a very difficult journey, fraught with pain and sorrow. I remember to this day standing in my hallway, appealing to God who I did not have a real relationship with at the time, saying "God if you will save my daughter, I will be yours forever." That was the beginning of my daughters' transformation and little did I know at that time that God would use (redacted) to get to me! For a student who failed her first 2 years in high school, she has definitely come a long way, now graduating with honors. I am proud of (redacted), she has taken full responsibility for her actions. She has God in her heart and is determined to make a difference. Please share these examples of grace with those that helped us, or with those we can inspire.
